Backing up your files shouldn’t be complicated!

  • Save time and bandwidth: Ignite Backup will back up the entire original file on the first run-through. On subsequent backups, only the changes are backed up. Ignite Backup keeps multiple file versions, so you have access to the last 10 (or more*) backup versions, making it easy to recover files that have been accidentally modified.
  • Experience continuous data protection: Ignite Backup gives you the option to equip your backup settings to continually backup your data. Thus, whenever you make changes to the files in the backup set, Ignite Backup will automatically backup the changes to the Ignite Backup storage server.
  • Backup open files: There is no need to close an open program when your scheduled backup starts because, Ignite Backup can easily backup open files.

  • Schedule your backups: Ignite Backup allows you to choose the days and time of your backups, giving you the ability to schedule backup times when it is convenient for you.
  • Upgrade software automatically: When auto-upgrade is enabled, Ignite Backup will be upgraded automatically whenever a new version is available.
  • Manage backups online: Ignite Backup includes an online portal for accessing, managing, and retrieving you data.

Backup Capabilities

  • Utilize your preferred operating system: Ignite Backup Server Edition is developed with Java. Therefore, all applications in Ignite Backup Server Edition can run on all common operating systems, including Windows, Linux, Mac and all other platforms that support Java.
  • Backup common databases: Ignite Backup Server Edition modules include: Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Lotus Domino/Notes. System administrator is able to activate or deactivate individual modules for different users.
  • Employ the command line tool: Ignite Backup Server Edition is equipped with a command line tool, which allows users to run pre-backup and post-backup commands. System administrators can back up an applications or databases even if Ignite Backup does not have a dedicated module for it.
