FAQs

What if I have an employee who has designed and/or managed web sites?

We are not trying to take the place of your employees. Our goal is to help you develop a professionally-designed site for your business. By equipping your team with our latest technology and tools, they will be able to make changes to text and images easier and quicker than ever before.

How is billing handled for web packages?

Our consultants are more than happy to discuss your specific technology needs and consult with you about a web design that will best meet the needs of your business. With our web production, there is a one-time set up fee (based on the scope of your project), as well as a monthly ASP fee that includes professional hosting and web application.

Is it possible to purchase any of the Premium Tools on an individual basis?

Yes, we do offer all of our Premium Tools, with the exception of the Editing Tool, as stand-alone tools. You can add just one or several of our features to your site to increase the functionality and enhance your site.

Will you advertise on my web site?

Absolutely not. We want this website to be about your business. We simply ask that you place our small "Created by Ignite 360" logo at the bottom of your web pages.

What kind of technical support will be provided?

Our award-winning Support Center is accessible 24/7. We give all of our clients accessibility to our tutorials, knowledge base, troubleshooter, downloads, and latest news. We also provide the ability to email in and ask questions to our production staff.

What can I expect from Ignite 360 that I will not get with other web site providers?

Our consultative approach begins where most providers leave off. Our desire is to work with your business to produce a web site that meets your needs in the area of outstanding graphic design, functionality, interactivity, ease of navigation, and easy-to-make changes with text and images.

Will you host our web site on your servers?

Yes. We provide professional web site hosting and a great deal more. Click here for more information.

What is the estimated time to get a web site live on the internet?

We desire to work with your timetable. We know every business has a time frame, and we are able to work with you and the logistics of your overall schedule.

Our production turn-around time, normally, is 6 to 8 weeks for a medium-to-large web site. The production turn-around time can be determined by your timely response in getting changes back to us and in providing requested information. We work hand-in-hand with you to meet your timetable.

What are the keys to a good web site?
Based on our experience, we have found that the criteria for a good web site are:

  1. Visual Design: the appearance of the site. Good visual design is high quality, appropriate, and relevant for the audience and the message it is supporting. It communicates a visual experience and may even take your breath away. That's why we do not offer cookie-cutter solutions, but each project, regardless of size or scope, is assigned to a professional design team with years of creative experience and ministry passion to bring your vision to life.
  2. Structure and Navigation: ease of use. This is the framework of a site, the organization of content, the prioritization of information, and the method in which you move through the site. Sites with good structure and navigation are consistent, intuitive and transparent. They allow you to form a mental model of the information provided, where to find things, and what to expect when you click. Good navigation gets you where you want to go quickly and offers easy access to the breadth and depth of the site's content.
  3. Interactivity: the way that a site allows you to do something. Good interactivity is more than a rollover or choosing what to click on next; it allows you, as a user, to give and receive. It insists that you participate, not spectate. Interactive elements are what separate the Web from other media. With dozens and dozens of features to select from a la carte options, you are not pressed into buying certain packages, but can freely select what you want without having to purchase unnecessary modules.
  4. Functionality: the use of technology on the site. Good functionality means the site works well. It loads quickly, has live links, and any new technology used is functional and relevant for the intended audience. Highly functional sites anticipate the diversity of user requirements from file size, to file format and download speed. The most functional sites also take into consideration those with special access needs. Good functionality makes the experience center stage and the technology invisible.
  5. Content: the information provided on the site. It is not just text, but music, sound, animation, or video -- anything that communicates a site's body of knowledge. Good content should be engaging, current, formatted, relevant, and appropriate for the audience. Good content has a voice, a point of view. It may be informative, useful, or funny, but it always leaves you wanting more.
