Eric Johnson
Chief Technology Officer
Eric Johnson is an experienced software specialist, currently serving as Ignite 360’s Chief Technology Officer and oversees a team of developers in Russia, Ukraine and Austin. Eric gained significant experience with management information systems, accounting systems, reporting systems, databases and project architecture through founding and building two successful technology firms while he was studying Computer Science at the University of Texas at Austin. This experience has been part of the backbone of building Ignite 360, Inc. In 2000 Eric cofounded faithHighway- a brand of Ignite 360, Inc. where he served as the primary systems analyst, system designer, and database analyst. He has also developed a wide array of website applications, computer software and management systems for our clients.
If you could give someone an inside look into your life, what would you want them to know?
How much fun it is to have children. There is a certain joy from the moment of their birth and relating your own childhood to each moment they have when they grow up. The joy, the pain, surprise, specific moments that allow you to relive your life watching them. Seeing their own unique moments. Talking with my wife about how our life is and how our children are.
How do you balance home life with work life?
I Don’t. Life happens. I feel a natural pull to get things done and to have a family life.
What is something that few people know about you?
I play the drums like a pro.
